I’m fortunate in that the throttle response was not at all affected when my ecu was reflashed during the recall. No jerky jerk when it went in, no difference when it came out.
I like the ride mode and PAIR functionality described from Ivan’s flash. Sounds pretty cool.
You won’t hit the (lower gear) limiter unless you’re purposely abusing your clutch. It doesn’t come into play no matter how hard you’re accelerating, in any gear, unless you’re murderating the clutch.
Won’t happen with the clutch lever in. Won’t happen with the clutch lever out.
No Pros except sound, appearance, and weight. No cons except cost, sound, appearance, and weight. I love my R77’s. But no slip on is going to noticeably affect performance or mileage.
Their “all staff is in a meeting” recording is a commonly used setting for the Yamaha klown corps in Kennesaw. It can go on for days. Doesn’t really mean anyone is in a meeting. I never got that when I was talking to their Cali office.
Now that both of my neotec’s have the ability to summon Siri without me touching anything, this has come to mind. I just need to figure out what thingy to wire in to make my non-Q but still-pretty-new chamberlain opener work with wifi.
I’m on the same schedule. Thursday is what I’m hoping for, but Friday or Saturday won’t be a huge surprise. Service manager said they want to take their time with the first one, but I know they want to move on to the next thing too.
