Footpeg Warning - GA Statute 40-6-314(a)?

For the record he was a nice young police officer. Very pleasant, no attitude, and actually respectful. I had no problem being just as respectful to him. I was happy it was just a warning. Ultimately no big deal. Didn't ruin my ride or anything. Was almost a nice break from all the hard riding...

Footpeg Warning - GA Statute 40-6-314(a)?

Believe me I do the same thing. Not stunt riding either, but standing on my pegs to straighten out my back. Yesterday's experience made me think of that as well. Personally I'm going to drop my feet off the pegs or stand up still at times.. But I will be looking to see who's around before I do...

Footpeg Warning - GA Statute 40-6-314(a)?

So me & Streetbetty were enjoying a nice ride yesterday, going out to lunch, enjoying some cappuchino & cheescake on a outdoor patio in the town that films a lot of "The Walking Dead" tv series here in GA in 70 degree temps. After lunch I looped us down south to ride across the spine of the Pine...

    "Seafoaming" your FJR?

Ok thanks for the feedback. I guess based on this information I certainly don't see why it would hurt doing it in both area's if one is so inclined. Of course at least running it through a full tank of gas is a must at minimum. I'm satisfied.

    "Seafoaming" your FJR?

Ok thanks for that explanation. Soooo if I want to go ahead and clean both area's then I would put the correct amount in the tank to clean the injectors, then since I have removed the pair valve system, I would remove my (4) intake caps and pour a little amount into each port while the bike is...

    "Seafoaming" your FJR?

That's partly my question as well. Perhaps it does a more direct clean to the injectors? Was curious if that step is necessary or not.

    "Seafoaming" your FJR?

I have a question about Seafoam since I've never used it before. I'm having no issues with the bike but for preventative maintenance I wanted to run some sort of FI cleaner through the bike. I found this video on Youtube with a guy seamfoaming a 2006 Gixxer 1000 FI bike. Is this the correct way...

    New season...new attitude

The calendar says Spring is still a couple of weeks away...but this weekend in Georgia you'd of thought otherwise. The winter from hell may be starting to finally loosen it's grip somewhat on the eastern U.S., at least here in the deep south. For you miserable *******s in the Midwest, Northeast...

    FAR Adventure

Little River Canyon, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, Dahlonega, Little 5 in downtown ATL...you hit a lot of my good local riding haunts. As has been noted by most on the forum the 2014 Red Menace is the cause of epic levels of covetousness among us. You can include me in on that sinful note of...

GenII vs GenIII Air Filter Element

Well I didn't mean for this thread to turn into a dreaded NERPT air box mod thread...but that inner tube doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Weird to have that big ass air filter and for only of 1/2 of it to be actually filtering air? But that being said, my bike runs perfect the way it is and I...

GenII vs GenIII Air Filter Element

Does anyone else do the Air Filter 180 to extend the life of it? What I mean is, because of the plastic tube that sits inside the filter element almost exactly 1/2 the filter seems to not be filtering the air. When you check your filter after a season on the inside there is a clear line from...

    PAIR Removal

Actually I used this same 5/8" cap. Don't ask why it works for both even though they are slightly different size ports. They fit snug on the (4) engine ports and it's a very, very tight fit on the air box port. If you try to use the 1/2" caps on the (4) engine ports they are a PITA to get on...

    PAIR Removal

That's what I did as well. Even though this is an old post I thought I'd post the part# for other members currently removing their pair system. This method you only have to tip up your gas tank to install and it just takes a few minutes & your done. Napa Part# 660-1696 for $2.99 for (2ea)...

Dyna Beads - Do they work? If so, how?

You guys make stuff way to complicated. THEY WORK! Google...Isaac Newton + law of interia Oh wait...you won't buy that either! And Gravity is a scam too! Aye Carrumba

Dyna Beads - Do they work? If so, how?

Yes they work. I had them on my last bike and they worked great for several thousands of miles. I know your mind wants to understand all things technical Fred, but all I know is I put the appropriate amount in my tire per Dynabeads listed tire size chart, and they felt perfectly balanced. I...

    Who is going to JAX?

The only interesting point on this entire route is crossing the Sidney Lanier Bridge in Brunswick, GA. The other 997 miles will look much the same. 95, 16 & 10 are about as exciting as watching paint dry. Ya'll are a different breed...that's for sure. Be sure to give me the single finger...
