    Yamaha Touring Windshield Gen II

The shield is in very good to excellent condition. No scratches. The only thing setting it apart from new is a few teeny-tiny rock marks, and you really have to look hard to find those. I'd say it is as good as it gets for a used windshield. $55.00 shipped to the lower 48 seems like a fair...

Help for the Anemic Gen II Turn Signal Indicators

I tried using the flasher source wire first, but the LED I was using would trigger the flasher making the LED blink continually.

Help for the Anemic Gen II Turn Signal Indicators

I took it out for a test this evening, and it doesn't seem to be a problem. The picture I took early was taken directly at the LED. When riding it is just in the peripheral vision.

Help for the Anemic Gen II Turn Signal Indicators

It blinks in tune with the turn signals. I tapped into the wires going from the turn signal switch to the signals. I added a diode to each side so that only one LED would be required.

Help for the Anemic Gen II Turn Signal Indicators

I'm planning on this getting to the point where it is automatic and no longer needed. I'm coming off a BMW with their odd turn signal arrangement so some retraining is needed.

Help for the Anemic Gen II Turn Signal Indicators

I find the turn signal indicators on my '06 less than ideal during the day. They are too small and not bright enough. I haven't yet developed the muscle memory that ensures I'm going to turn the blinker off and as a result I find myself occasionally riding down the road turn signal blinking...

Have the terms and rules changed with regards to vulgarity?

Redfisher Hunter has hit the nail on the head with this comment: "As it evolved it seems that the OP was not so much against vulgarity in and of itself as he was against Vulgarity Mixed With Stupidity. This does live here and can be aggravating to the best of us. I can't really disagree with...

Have the terms and rules changed with regards to vulgarity?

I can't speak to the getting worse part of this, but the other part is dead on. Prior to deciding on my FJR, I looked for every peice of information I could find to help me make an informed choice. I did this on Concourse and ST1300 websites as well. Since I made my decision I have continued...

Have the terms and rules changed with regards to vulgarity?

This is precisely what I found annoying and what prompted the original post. I brought up vulgarity because it seems to be associated with almost every thread that is "dicked up". BTW, I do not consider the use of the regular "cuss" words vulgar. Vulgar to me implies crude and tasteless. In...

Have the terms and rules changed with regards to vulgarity?

Perfectly stated. I was never offended, but I did feel some posts were way beyond just being salty. I felt like addressing the language and the inane posts that now, thanks to a trip to the Ignore section and a few clicks, are a thing of the past.

Great feature. Thanks for giving me a heads up.

    Tinted Windshield

I should have added more information. I'm looking at the 21 tall with +2 width. I always look over the windshield.

    Tinted Windshield

Are there any pluses or minuses to a lightly tinted windshield like the light gray Cee Bailey as compared to clear? Thanks.

Help me plan a ride...Bryce, Zion, Grand Cyn.

As mentioned Hwy 12 is not to be missed. It is one of the most spectacular roads scenery-wise in the US. Continue on Hwy 24 from Torrey to Hanksville where you'll pick up Hwy 95. Hwy 95 is initially a bit dull but once you get close to the river the scenery is fantastic all the way to the...

What did you do to your FJR today?

I worked on a way to mount my first ever gps on a motorcycle. I occasionally have to drive in Las Vegas and found the gps is essential for getting around safely in that traffic, bike or car. Pulling over and checking the map isn't an option.

Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo For Sale

Brings back lots of good memories. My first touring bike was a GT750 with a Vetter fairing. That bike carried me all over the US and Canada two up pulling a great little trailer. I was attracted to the Suzuki because it was different. I'd owned a Titan (500cc two cylinder two stroke) which...
