Love my 05, extremely farkled. You've come to the right place to learn about the FJR, however. There are guys here who have forgotten more than I'll ever know. One thing I do know: You'll enjoy the FJR!

When the forecast was for 50 degrees and no rain, I knew the time was right for a motorcycle ride. I had every intention of taking my V-Star, while Karyn rode her FJR...but that FZ1 whispered sweet nothings, and so he got the nod. We went to Heceta Head lighthouse, and took our very first tour...

My current ride is an 02 Gen 1 FZ1, and we just picked up an 05 FJR for my partner. I have noticed the same things about the handling...I have not been diligent with the tire pressure, however. :guiltysmiley: I will try checking that next ride. I also suspect a trip to GP is in our future...

I completely understand the "First Time Wow" factor...and the smiles still aren't removed...although, now that the cold, rain, and wet leaves are here, maybe the smile will fade a bit. Happy FJR!

We had good weather for our Veteran's Day event. I play in a tuba group that was invited to the Creswell, OR (pop 5000) VFW event. The first is of the group. I am grossly out of tuba uniform, but in the "uniform of the day" for my day job... This is the picture where our ensemble veterans...

If I don't end up with a tuba gig, we'll probably come up for this. I should know more in a week or two.

The Duc belongs to the woman at the far right in the picture. She had the bike lowered by a fellow in San Jose. Joan and Patty (Joan is dark complected; Patty took the picture) ride two up on the Roadglide; Joan's other bike is the new Kawi 1000; she and Carolyn ride together a lot.
