    Fall Colors, Trial Post

This was on our way home from picking up the FJR. I am in blue, to the left of the photo.

Nah, that is inseam challenged Karyn. I'll dig up one of me...

    Fall Colors, Trial Post

This fall has been excellent for riding and gathering in fall colors, just in time to enjoy on the new FJR. The first of this post is just to see if I can do photos; the full story will happen later. The colory fall photos are from FR 19, the Aufderheide Drive in Lane County. The gray ones...

    Apple Run

Enjoyed the post...and love the new way to measure side bag capacity. And I swung and missed at the hanging curve ball. :ermm:

    Cycle World "Best Used Bikes"

Looks like Cycle World approves of my new aquisition. I have put almost 1K miles on it the first month...well, the family has. I haven't gotten to ride it much.

Camping on the Coast in October

Nice RR, OM. Glad you were able to brave those terrible conditions and get those first lightish pictures.

    Just wanted y'all to know...

Well said, Tyler. Been living this lately. Just this year I have had 4 LEO friends die: one in a firearms accident, one from lymphoma, one from leukemia and one killed in the line of duty. Thanks for the reminder. Even as an FNG here, I appreciate y'all.

    You ******* Piece of ****!

Didn't watch it. See too much of it in real life. I'd like anyone he adjudicated for violent behavior to have a crack at him, however. Can't stand jerks like this.

    (Yet another) Lowering Event

Thanks, OC. I had just read puppychow's road trip report up there and was thinking that might be a good idea for us...

    (Yet another) Lowering Event

Well, we picked up the FJR yesterday. Kouba links to 7/8", front forks 1/2" and the handlebar raisers that bring them up and back. Plus the stock seat that we got from John. I can flat foot her now, Karyn is solid on the balls of her feet. Center stand will be useless unless our guy can take...

The True Meaning of Veterans Day...

Nice post. We have a restaurant in the small town I patrol that is run by a Canadian motorcyclist/hockey player that has a U.S. Flag (chrocheted)(sp on THAT) with pictures of local folks who have served and who are serving representing all branches, and all conflicts since the Civil War. Last...

    WTB Gen 1 stock seat

    Got one, thanks!

    WTB Gen 1 stock seat

Since the "new" bike came with a custom seat, I'd like to get a stock seat to "recustom" for the 27" inseam challenged rider. The seat does not have to be in great shape...

    (Yet another) Lowering Event

Thanks to all the responses so far...the Mrs. won't log on to any of the forums, so this is just me... I am suspecting that a trip to Redding might be in order, unless we buy a stock seat to have redone. Anyone have a stock seat for sale?? Ally

    (Yet another) Lowering Event

So, on our "new to us" 05 FJR, there is a custom seat (sorry, don't remember the name of it, made in Redding CA). The bike is primarily for my wife, who is 5'4" and has a whopping 27" inseam. Our first thought had been to start with the seat, but we discovered that even with the seat off...

    Falling color of the Sierra

Beautiful, even if the colors are past prime. Walker is one of my favorite RON sites, at the West Walker Motel, right across the way from the BBQ place.

    no riser's rider?

We're in the middle of mods...the 5'3" primary rider is going with a loweing kit plus the handlebar risers. We've taken the rubber thingies off the seat, but it is a custom seat, so I really have no clue as to how it compares to the stock seat. I am really interested to see if the 10 degree...

Of Volcanoes, Lakes and a lot of falling Water..

Nice report. I have ridden Crater Lake and Lassen on two different trips this year. Great stuff! Oh, and welcome to Oregon motorcycling weather...

    Taking the Plunge

OK, in no particular order: Yes, I am Ally House from the Pashnit forum...also the FZ1 forum, for what it is worth. Lets see... 67,780 miles on the clock. 3rd owner...first was a fellow who used it almost exclusively for his 3 hour commute. Second was the fellow I bought it from, who works...
