I average 44 - 45 MPG on my 07AE. However, I get to one (1) line and stop to fill up. The fuel gauge leads me to believe that I have less fuel. It takes about 4.0 to 4.5 gallons to fill it up. Confusing. Also, I have a G2 installed and have run premium fuel. (I'll change to a lesser grade after...

My 07AE is the same way. I actually investigated this last night because while it works I found it irritating. However.....It's tight as from the factory. I do not know if this is the way ALL FJRs are or a select few model years.

Thanks for the heads up. I had not thought of planning a ride, but now I know the basics, I'll keep that in mind. I see you mentioned Athens and Caldwell as starting points. I'll break out the atlas and check the online maps. If I come up with something, I'll post.
