Needed to test my Sena SMH10

Thanks PJM. I've never used anything else prior to this so I have no point of comparison. But I did do some homework before buying this and I figured that with the large jog dial, the Sena would be much easier to use with gloves on. Thanks Keith. I saw those reviews as well. Can't say much...

Ride to Valle Az, planes of fame!

Marcus Excellent report. My two passions - bikes and planes! The pic below had me laughing - Noise level in cockpit - What did you say? LOL! Thanks for sharing.

Needed to test my Sena SMH10

I ordered a pair of Sena SMH10 last week, and got it on Friday morning. I was eager to put it through its paces and asked the wife, "wanna go for a ride?" We took a short ride to Bukit Tinggi. About 111 miles. The Senas are great! It sits a bit awkward on the C3, although its still secure...

    Sena SMH10 Intercom

No problems so far with mine. Only that it fits better on my Nolan N103 than it does on the Schuberth C3. But my wife and I are enjoying using it and its making our rides together much more enjoyable. And even when I'm riding alone, its nice to have music on my journey to where ever I'm...

    Sena SMH10 Intercom

I just got mine from MrHit. Ordered last Wednesday and arrived this morning. I bought a pair. I'll be using it this weekend - but not bike to bike - just rider to pillion. The one thing I noticed is that it doesn't fit very well on my Schuberth C3. I've yet to attach the other one to my...

Had to get away - my first ride report

glas1/2ful, Thanks for sharing. Didn't know you had rice fields over there. Just like what we have back here - very beautiful when they are lush and green. Nik.

Not even 4 days -- Dropped it..

Redbanks2, Sorry to hear of your drops. I should say to be careful what you ask for. After dropping my bike twice (I only got the bike on Jan 16 this year), I dropped her again yesterday. Pulled up to the front of the house and got off the bike. Down she went, into a pillar on the left...

    Helmet talk....what are you wearing??

Started off with a Schuberth C3. Recently got the Nolan N103 for the wife, but I used it occasionally as well. I like the way the nolan fits my head but the C3 is quieter, better ventilated, lighter and more compact.

    Members Pets

We have 4 cats. - Kirby - Gege - Shadow - Shiloh All persian. But having said that, I'm no cat expert. I label them persian because they all have a lot of hair. This is Kirby. Looks mean but is actually a wuss and is completely harmless. Won't chase anything. Won't run. Just likes to...

    MadMike

OM, Wonderful report. Love the humor! I have to say, that's pretty cool (the pic below) to be able to go one handed and get a pic. I can do the one handed bit, but handling my camera with one hand? I'll probably wind up dropping and damaging it. Thanks for sharing.

Great Ride in NE Washington until...

Thanks for the report AuburnFJR. Glad to hear the BR and his wife will be ok. Its scary to see the pics of the deer and then the bike underwater. But also uplifting to hear how everyone helped. Diving into the water was very heroic. Congratulations to all of you for saving the day and...

    Searching for M,OM

Thanks Puppychow, OM and Mike for sharing. I was eagerly looking through the thread hoping that you guys would finally meet up somewhere along the way, but it was not to be. But it made for an interesting storyline in the report! :)

    Nik.Hisham is 39 today

Lol. There's a saying where I come from. "Kalau panjang umur" = If my health permits and I'm still around .... or something to that effect. It'll be interesting to see how my interest in riding and photography progresses. I guess this forum is a great place to document that. Nik.

    Nik.Hisham is 39 today

Hi everybody. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Looks like I'm the latest to the party - and it's my party! Actually, I didn't know this thread existed until bigbeavk PM'ed me. Again, thanks. This is a pleasant surprise, for sure. Nik - the birthday boy. :)

    Is this good for me?

Papa, On your question of height. I'm your height. 5'7". I think my inseam is 30" if I recall correctly. And am quite comfortable with the bike. The seat height is adjustable and I've got it set to the lowest position. When on the bike, I am able to have both feet on the ground, but not...

    Is this good for me?

I have to say, I totally agree with jwmead72. I originally bought the FJR because, primarily, I liked its looks. Beyond that, it was because I was gonna do some touring with a a bunch of friends on a regular basis. I've put on close to 6000 miles in less than 5 months. And after touring for...

Not even 4 days -- Dropped it..

Sorry to hear about the drop. But I got you both beat. I dropped mine while still in the dealer parking lot. I was on it for no more than 10 seconds and definitely traveled no more than 10 yards. I must hold the record for quickest membership into the drop club.
