I'm getting ready to post my Starcom Advance system for sale here shortly. It's a rider + pillion system. I switched to Bluetooth so I can more easily use my phone and switch between multiple bikes. I really like the Starcom system and would recommend it if you only want to use it on one bike.

I have a brake light flasher. But I don't recommend replacing your incandescents with LEDs. Most have found that th LEDs are not as bright. Lots of threads on LED brake lights in this forum. You can find them with Google.

I know how you are feeling. I am sorry for your injury and thankful like the others here that it wasn't worse. I lived in Houston for many years and did not enjoy the freeways. Looks like a new bike for you when you heal up.

Broken tabs are easy to fix with plastic welding. Plastic welding means melting the tabs back on with a soldering iron - perhaps with some new plastic from another source. It's easy and just as strong as new. BTDT.

You can get 40-60% of retail for good condition used farkles if you sell separately. If you bundle with your bike, you'll be lucky to get anything for them. The conventional wisdom is to strip and sell as long as you have the time and energy to do so.

Scotty, did you cut out some of the hard plastic liner to move the speakers away from your ears a bit? It's the outside edges of my ears rubbing on the speakers that cause the irritation.
