    GenII fuse box bracket

Hi Art, Any chance you'd ship up to Calgary, Alberta, Canada? USPS apparently is easy to do. I have PayPal and would of course pay the shipping ... Thanks ian

    Tankless Water Heaters

We've had a Rinnai in our hone for about 2 years now - and I wouldn't go back to a tank. I live in Calgary, where in the winter, the water is verrrryyyyy cold. Works great. ian

Single Best Farkle Ever - what have you added that you rate as #1?

Hands down - My StarCom Digital and 2-way radio - so I can talk to my wife when we ride together! She has the same setup on hers, but I'm not sure she'd agree that that StarCom and radio are her best farkles. Runner-up is the plug for my Gerbings heated jacket - I run cold so I use the heated...

    Mapping program for Mac?

I've been using RoadTrip on my Mac for a couple of years now, used it to plan a trip from Calgary to Montreal in 2008, and a trip to Victoria last year. Did all the route planning and waypoints, then downloaded the routes into my Zumo 550. I was even updating routes each night on my MacBookPro...

    New FJR Owner

I think I remember reading that thread. Yikes indeed! I did scare the hell out of one of the guys at the dealership back in the summer last year. I had taken my wife's Burgman 650 in for new tires and needed a ride for the day, so I talked the sales manager there into loaning me a DL1000...

    New FJR Owner

Yup, frame sliders are at the top of list. I also have a StarCom Digital and Centech AP1 to swap from my old bike to the FJR and a mount for my Zumo550 that all to be installed right away too. I'm going to be moving my GIVI topbox over as well. I'm also thinking of the Yamaha handguards and...

    New FJR Owner

I've lurking on the forum for some time - the information here on this board was a major reason why I choose the FJR over similar bikes from BMW (K1300), Suzuki (Bandit 1250/VStrom), Kawasawki (the Connie) and some others. ian

    New FJR Owner

I've been on the Burgman for the past 5 years. I'm also 48 years old and have a clear sense of my mortality. Believe me - I've been warned many times about the power difference between the two rides - especially from my wife!

    New FJR Owner

Well, I just put down a deposit on a 2009 FJR. It's so new it's still in a crate! Once the weather clears up enough here in Calgary, I'll have the dealership put it together and I'll pick it up - probably sometime in early March. I'm upgrading from a 2008 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive. I've...

Ist Annual Western Canadian Regional Ride

Hi Barb, I was out on the island with my wife on our Suzuki Burgman's this past summer. The highlight was riding the newly paved highway from Port Renfrew to Lake Cowichan - awesome road and views! Hopefully I'll have my FJR by then and can get the time off. ian
