500 mile days are not a problem. (Concord to Bend is 475). FJRs & Wingabagos just eat up the miles. There’s a nice little motel in Bend - clean, comfortable, and not too expensive - where I have reservations. And a good spot for breakfast just a couple blocks away.

Last year I went up 97 from Bend to Yakima, then 90 toward Snohomish. My thought this year was to take 12 west from Yakima. Are you familiar with 12? Looks like it has some nice curves and off the beaten path?
