NAFO -2021 Glenwood Springs CO August 26-28, 2021

Thanks for taking this on, John and Kevin.  Lots of familiar names and lots I'm looking forward to meeting.  The Glenwood Springs area looks gorgeous.  Anybody start a room--sharing thread yet?

    FJR Shock (OEM)

How about if he sent you the shock and then you sent him the money?  Seems just as reasonable as the other way.  Plus you have some credibility here with a few more than 8 posts.

gained 1/2", lost Rider Seat Height Adjuster

So your seat is a bit lower, easier to touch down.  Any other reasons to do this?  Like more storage room, easier to unlock or click seat back into place, like that?

Yosemite FJR Owners (YFO) Gathering - Sept. 2-5, 2021

Not to answer your question, but I just clicked Tyler's link to see how availability was looking.  Every day of the meet is still shown as "available" for day use entry.  That's as of now.  If you're going, I wouldn't wait till the last minute.  If you have a pass (senior or annual) there's no...

Blast from the Past: Hydration Systems

Even those under-10-dollar Igloo or Coleman jugs hold cold for a while, especially if you start with some ice.  I don't use a bite valve; it's easy enough to pull the water through the hose and then you just have to blow the water in the hose back into the bottle when you're done drinking. ...

Blast from the Past: Hydration Systems

My half-gallon Igloo jug sits in a cookpot from the Dollar Tree that I broke the handle off and drilled holes in the bottom for a U-bolt around the passenger peg.  The tube is 3/8" plastic tube from Home Depot.  And I rode a thousand or two miles with the money I saved.   😊

FJR Pictures from Past Regional Gatherings

Great idea for a thread.  Hope it keeps growing.  I'm so damn sorry I missed that '07 WFO though. Wonder how many customers did a U-turn in the parking lot of the '08 EOM and stayed somewhere else.

Looking for advice on beginner sport bike

As small as he can get that will satisfy his ill-advised sport bike jones, like a 300 or 400 cc Honda or Ninja (when I started, we all got little 125-250 cc jobs), so he can pick it up when he drops it--and he will--and  a used one for the same reason.  And so he won't be guaranteed to kill...

    Name That Place Game

Are you kidding?  No comments yet on the freaking custom pie holder??  😜 Whose bike is that?  You could sell a lot of those on this forum.

    Stich and Julie Schlachter [FJRfarrier]

Cool, Julie.  Put that in the Name the Place game.  Where is it?

    Name That Place Game

Tough to say, since some are on the left of the center line and some on the right.  Unless it's a one-way road.  Wouldn't mind taking it though.  Reminds me of the Stelvio Pass in Italy.  The road, anyway.  A little.

    2004 FJR Engine heat

Trouble with living in upstate NY, those long winters (I grew up in Syracuse-and by the way, how 'bout those Orangemen?  At least so far.) Anyway, I had the same problem with that ridge in the fairing rubbing uncomfortably against my lower leg when I used the highway pegs, so I got a set of...
