2024 FJR with 1,000,000 mile parts bike? In Denver, on Marketplace.

I know if I was trying to sell a motorcycle, I sure wouldn't park it right over an oil spot.

    NinWelly (XiTomer) throttle lock

Easy, Greg, but for the love of God, WATCH the polarity!

    RIP ionbeam - 10/7/23

What we say on this thread is mostly for the people he left behind who loved him and might get a good feeling from seeing how he was appreciated by us all. I never met Alan--wrong coasts, but when I saw a post from Ionbeam on any problem or issue, I always knew it would be a good idea or...

What Do You Wish You Could Transport On Your Bike?

I'm pretty sure it would be fine. TV, paddle board, table saw; just have somebody behind you to take pictures.

    On this day...

The badge looks very cool. There were some very well done new shows broadcast this 9/11 using never-before-seen footage gathered from many witnesses, mostly iphone-type recordings and interviews from witnesses and survivors and family members of victims. Very moving and personal stuff...

Hi there, from me and my 2009 ex-police FJR

"Land's End to John O'Groats . . . and back". Kind of envy you. We have pretty fun roads here, too, but not that one. As I read about your new ride, I looked forward to seeing what the yellow and blue paint scheme on your bike would look like, but NOOOO. Guess they repaint, or something...

    FJR Forum Decal design

There are SO many sites on the internet where you can upload your own pictures and printing onto a tshirt (or a decal, a coffee cup, or the seat of your pants). And for pretty much the same price as buying a shirt off the rack, too. With your own smiling face, sitting on your own FJR, any...

'Busa speed record from Holeshot Racing

I didn't even know there WAS a 270 mph barrier. Thank God I don't have to try to bust through it on my FJR!

    Drone in Follow-Me-Mode

I like it, and it would be fun to watch myself riding over some great stretch of road, like the Pacific Coast Highway or Beartooth, but realistically, it looks like another complicated piece of finicky electronic gear that I'd get all screwed up and be sorry I bought. I'll just watch what you post.

Busa Survey found in Greyhound Bus Station

Cool. So we CAN lane split in Seattle!

Busa Survey found in Greyhound Bus Station

What did you do with the Swifty fans after you took them in? What are Swifty fans? What was so good about them? And is it legal to park on the sidewalk in Seattle? Too many unanswered questions.

    FJR Forum Decal design

I suppose it's because we all got PMs asking for feedback on this, but the level of responses (eleven pages already?) is way out of proportion to the importance of the issue, IMHO. Make a sticker, any kind you want. I suppose we can buy it then? And stick a picture of an FJR (or an FJR...

    FJR Forum Decal design

Photo of an identifiable FJR, side cases only (like it comes with new). Why does it have to "look enough like an FJR?" Why not have it BE and FJR?

    Can You Lift an FJR?

Funny. I got an alert that somebody had quoted me and found this. When I read what I'd posted, I was thinking WTF before I realized how old the thread was. Which I realized when I thought about how many times I've dropped how many FJRs in the last 15 years! But I don't post about it anymore.

    Trooper Mod

Trooper was just the name of a member who posted it up here. Lot of us tried it, most of us liked the result. Only caution, I heard it could affect trade-in value value. I burned thru a bunch of rotary dremel blades (surprisingly tough material). I haven't done it on any of my subsequent...

Parts For Sale Sergeant seat for Gen 1... SOLD

Just a last thought--and I only just heard about this outfit that was claimed to be a very (comparatively) low-cost shipping option. Pirateship.com. I don't remember where I saw something about it, probably one of these motorcycle forums. Maybe even here. If you try it, I hope you'll post...

Parts For Sale Sergeant seat for Gen 1... SOLD

I had a Sergeant on my Gen I. Big big improvement over stock. Somebody should jump on it.

Great Ride in Arizona High Country

For me, the last thirteen years have gone by like a flash. The NEXT thirteen, however . . .
