    Fairing screw head stripped...

You may be able to drill 2 holes in the shoulder of the fastener head, and use a security flat head (i.e. a spanner) to remove it. Soak it in liquid wrench or your favorite penetrating oil, and tap it repeatedly but lightly before trying to use the spanner. a bit like this:

    Brake Disc Locks

The seemingly best solution I've heard of is this: Put a velcro ring around the ignition key, and on the disk lock. Cut both into donuts to allow the key to be inserted with the velcro ring (the loop or rug side) Cut a circle tab out of the hook side. Put the circle tab on the disk lock...

    Helmet Guardian locks

nice write-up! I added a link in the bin. Fred H's approach is to file the disk tumblers instead of removing them.

How about this tire pressure monitoring system??

Cool deal! Let us know how the tire on/off process goes with the sensor. Really cool that you can mount the system and for now, just screw the sensors on. You can get the sensors on the inside when you change tires. I couldn't tell from the pictures in the install manual how much clearance...

How about this tire pressure monitoring system??

FWIW A note of caution -- if the pressure sensor that is on the valve stem fails, you will have a flat tire. Typically the schrader valve is opened by the screw on sensor, so the valve is always opened. In the event that the sensor has a leak failure, the system should at least alarm to let...

    Scam-A-Lam-A-Ding-Dong?

Seems they would have known before they shipped the car overseas how to get it registered, and the cost. Not certain, but I don't think the military ships peoples personal belongings when they sell them. If it were my $$, I wouldn't send it overseas through eBay.

     How much did you pay to register at this forum? what did it cost read the bin-o-facts?, and what did you pay for learning the barbarian jumper mod? What did you pay to learn what others CO settings are? I have spent lots of time and money on...

I don't think that offering a lower price is out of line. You may want to do some searching on cycletrader.com and craigslist, and see what others are selling them for.

    FJR1300A or FJR1300AE?

Not a dumb question at all. The two differences are the YCCS (Yamaha Chip Controlled Clutch), and factory heated grips. The factory heated grips are a fairly easy aftermarket add-on, so I wouldn't base any decision on that. The YCCS is not really an automatic transmission, but a computer...

Hey, does that thing have a Hemi?

Actually it does say Hemi on the rear silver stripe, so it may not be a diesel. I do like the step's on the rock rails, looks like N-Fab nerf steps. The driving may bother me, but the truck doesn't -- to each his/her own. If you like it.... ride it.

When your child goes to war...

Tell Jordan, "Thank You." Although I can not understand how you feel, and have no idea what you may be going through, I honor your family and specifically Jordan for defending our country and my freedom. Once again, thank you.
