    Throttle rocker causing interference?

I know it is not for everybody, but I run with the Throttle Rocker all the time. Especially true before the Carpal Tunnel Release surgery but also after, I don't think my hands could take a long ride without it. Before the surgery, it was the only way I could ride longer than 15 minutes...

    Tall Riders!

6' 4" here with a 36" inseam and baaad knees. I rode a lot of miles on my feej with the seat on high and the stock pegs. This year I added the lowering kit to my pegs and I can't imagine going back. As others have stated, you have to watch where your feet are on the pegs when you start...

Should I stay or should I go?

Well, I like all bikes, but prefer a FJR...that being said... If you need to try the V-twin route, the Victory is a great choice! Well built and yes, they do contain modern technology. Go buy one, ride it everywhere. If you prefer it, great!. If not, there will still be FJR's around to come...

    CFO Web Site is Live

Looks like I am meeting up with another forum member in Wannamingo Friday Morning for breakfast at Area 57 before heading to LaCrosse (via 16 in So. MN first). We may hit Mindoro Cut/Wlidcat Mtn. during the day as he can't be there for Saturday. Let me know if you want along. mr.paul

    The Saga Begins

Oh and those frame sliders? A must! My motovation's have touched down on both sides. Definitely worth whatever you need to do to get them on early. mr.paul

    The Saga Begins

What a smart guy and what a great choice in bikes. You will not regret it...only that you don't have enough time to spend on it. And, as for the color....well...it is so good, that they brought it back around! I just over heard a group standing by my bike saying "yeah, that is the color I...

    FNG's test ride impression

Oh, I think everyone took this guy the wrong way. He is just confused. A lot of good advice here. And I will add that I used to call my FJR "souless" as compared to my Vmax. If you have had a Max you know what I mean. But as much fun and "soul" my Vmax was, I opted for the FJR. The FJR is...

MN Tech Day - May 12th

Arrgggghhh....as I suspected, I have to work tomorrow. Was really looking forward to getting together and taking in all the collective knowledge that I am sure will be flowing. Youz guyz have a great time and enjoy the beautiful day. Just lay a hand on an FJR throttle in rememberance of those...

New 2012 FJR in my garage

Way to go! I agreee that is the best blue since '06. Enjoy your new ride. Though all motorcycles are fun, the FJR is the one I chose to carry me. It is a fabulous bike. But, you already know that now don't you? mr.paul, from Minnesota

    aerostich guy;s

I will echo Gramps comment and tell you to go to Aerostich. C'mon, when is the last time you rode to an international shipping port? Take a run up the shore while you are there. If not, you will still find great customer service and they are very used to taking a suit back because you need a...

FJR1300 Custom Paint - what do you think

I think it looks really sharp. Nice concept. I think seeing it for real would provide the color others are missing. A gradient fade from the black through to the silver sounds cool. I might also include that very cool darker gray/silver with a bit of smokey brown color that was on one of the...

    flat tire

I have the Stop N Go kit and compressor. They have worked fine on a number of repairs on motorbike and car tires. With a round hole, properly done, I have never had a mushroom type plug fail. Your experience could differ. I was installing mushroom plugs in car tires in the 70's without...

    Initial Vendor report-Mishacycles.com good!

Just some initial feedback. I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new battery-a Shorai. I had received a discount code from the Shorai guy at the International Motorcycle show and thought I should use it. But before I ordered it I was browsing the FJRForum, more specifically the CFO...

A very specific PR2 question, hey tires ARE parts.

For what is is worth... I have only used the "B" spec and have been pleased with the performance. I bought the "B" since, me riding solo coulod be considered up to the capacity of "two-up". So actually riding two-up could be pushing it. mr.paul, from Minnesota

Torn: To buy or not to buy

As far as the comment of the ST being a bit "better" two-up, that is very subjective. Having owned both a 2005 ST1300 and a 2006 FJR at the same time, I will say this. The ST had almost 2 inches more room front to back than the FJR. The ST had more wind protection and was very smooth. But...

    What a difference!

If the bike is nice and calls to you, a little extra paid means diddly after a bit of time. Enjoy the ride! A bike in your garage is worth 3 on Craigslist... mr.paul
