Monday the 3rd they got the 11:45 PM ferry to the island. Wednesday the 5th they got the 6:30 AM ferry back to the mainland. Jeff did some amazing work putting this together - Wednesday is the only day of the week the 6:30 AM ferry runs. You had to have that earlier ferry to make this work.

The Sevinas mounted that low will have major glare on the road, which will kill your distance vision, IMHO.

I think there's an "otherwise specified" of 20 pts per mile, which is a max of 2400. So if you got a big string, could very well be worth it.

25 minutes for the Essex ferry. Much faster than riding around the lake . That rider is still 19 hours out according to gmaps. 15 hours till checkpoint opens if I'm doing my maths right.

He's moved. The spot page is just lagging again. Either way, he still has a huge ride to go!

FYI - Eric Lipps needs screws and well-nuts for an FJR windscreen delivered to CP2 in Allen, TX. Gen2 FJR, if anyone has them and can get them to the checkpoint.

Thanks for the info. I already have an 04', that's why I'm looking at another so all my stuff fits on the new bike. So I have stock cans already if I don't like the Delkevics. I only rode about 10 miles on the bike to test it, so might wind up being fine once I get used to it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are the Delkevics. Thanks, I might take ya up on that offer. Looks like they are pretty cheap anyway. Can you post of pic of what yours look like? There are a few different options on the Delkevic site.

I'm leaning towards that as well after comparing pictures. Should have looked closer when I checked the bike out on Saturday. The shop said they were Yoshimura pipes, but they don't match anything I can find. Of course, they also said they give 10-15% more HP, so we can take anything they say...
