I just bought a Quest and am having troubles with all of the different RAM parts I need. I purchased the powered Quest motorcycle mount at the same time. Which base do I need? and how long of arm should I use? I really don't want it sticking up too high, is the 1.75" arm too short? Dave

update. I got the Corbin from my dealer. first time on it I did the 430 miles to EOM05. Need I say more. Hard as a rock to the touch, but ride in the saddle.

That was Juan, aka FJuanR that brought his FJR up on the AutoTrain, then did lots of miles on it. and did the EOM with us.

I could do black/blue. Darker colors would look nice. could you do any samples of the different color combonations?

I have been having the same problems. Then my dealer offered a test ride of teh Yamaha (corbin) seat. Man was it hard as a rock, but after the trip to EOM, it's great. I'm not giving it back. I was even doing some of the custom work on the stocker, but just couldn't get it right.

WPBFJR has now had 2 mishaps to his FJR and it still hasn't come off.

They and Southern Images did a very good job getting all of those FJRs. I ordered all I could find of me. Dave

instead of chroming the wheels, what about just polishing them? I did that on my Katana, looked just as good. It just takes time and a good dremel. I also saw a sportbike that powder coated or painted the spokes, then polished the outer part. that looked very nice. Maybe a winter project.
