Yep, the self-fusing tape. Back in my AF days, we used to call it F-4 tape because that's what they were held together with; kind of like duct tape but better and water proof.

Yep started up front, first day riding to work, I should have just held the horn button down all the way ... within 200 yrds of my house I had to slam on breaks for morons that don't know what STOP means or that you are supposed to come to a complete STOP on a red light before making a right...

Any one have video or pictures of the hyper-lites or whelen in actual use in daylight? Most I've seen look to be in low light and/or stationary. I'd like to see them in actual daylight on the road. I have a BAL-1 on my Road King, and it is bright in daylight, cars back off and stay back. BAL...

The only issue I have (me personally, my own opinion) is that you should have wiped off the old dirty oil from the filter mating surface before putting on the new filter. That way, you would ensure a clean fit without the possibility of contaminating the gasket.
