    Early Planning- Fall OST Ride

Do you all mind if we open the Oct. 15th ride up to our FJR-Deprived friends? I might invite some friends and coworkers, just to be nice. I doubt they will accept, but you never know. They ride everything from HDs to Hayabusa's.

Gas Prices, Two Wheel Withdrawl, Other Ramblings -

I may be heading off-topic here (but with this thread that would be hard to distinguish :-) What 2 wheeler offers incredible mileage and yet still some performance for us used to bikes like the FJR? I can't see myself going to a Moped or the likes. But, if I could get something that was quick...

Gas Prices, Two Wheel Withdrawl, Other Ramblings -

the New Ford Escape Hybrid gets pretty closed to the claimed 34MPG, and it does about as well in the City. And, it's an SUV with a little more room and capability than the other Hybrids. Most of which are quite ugly! I just filled up the FJR and also noticed that even the cheap stuff was $2.49...

    Holy Mattress Batman!

So, good learning mileage! So, today I'm heading home for some lunch. I'm on the on-ramp to the interstate. Some bozo in...

    Early Planning- Fall OST Ride

Some of you might recognize this topic from another place...... Anyway, we're talking about a South Texas- Hill Country ride around the Bandera and Leakey area. We have not picked a sure date yet. But, Saturday Oct 15th seems to be getting the most attention at this point. Chime in if...

    Gasp -- A "breathable Jacket" ????

I feel like an outcast here. The two Mesh jackets I'v used have not been mentioned. Current all temp. jacket- Mossi, can't recall what style, but it's mesh with pads and a removeable liner. Works well. But it's Black. I found it at the local Yamaha dealer. Previous jacket- a few years back I...
