Split: Weight limit for ES Model?

Fred, not to hijack this thread, but you mentioned for the 16ES the relay arm ratio for the rear shock is 2:1. Would you happen to know what it is for the Gen 1 05' since you used to have one?

Got the bike and made it home

Get some custom molded ear plugs that contain speakers internal and you will never look back as far as hearing your tunes while protecting your hearing!

    FOBO TPMS saved my a**

Plus it keeps me alert when riding knowing that at any moment I could receive an ear popping alert from my SENA saying one of the pressure and/or temperature settings have been breached. Oh the joy of technology!!! Good stuff!

    New SENA helmet coming soon

I ride almost exclusively wearing a pair of custom molded 2 speaker ear plugs. They work awesome. Last week I did an experiment and removed the ear plugs and just tried to use the speakers in my helmet and it was terrible. Low volume, wind noise and just not comparable at all to using the ear...

    New SENA helmet coming soon

I believe I read some where that the noise sampling mics were located right next to the helmet speaker areas. If that's indeed the case it could be the ideal location for establishing the noise canceling algorithm .

Yosemite & Beyond - Risk Factor Style!

Tyler, GREAT pics. What type of camera do you use? How do you manage to take pics shooting forward and then rearward while riding? Just curious. Same question for the folks who have other great RR's.

    Rear Wheel removal issue

Another thought, since applying heat will cause the axle to expand and possibly make it more difficult to break lose, I would get a can of freeze spray and try really chilling that axle to see if it woun't break free from those bearings or spacer that way.

    Clearwater Lights install instructions?

What part of the light did you seal with the grease? Where the wire enters the case or ?????

Engine dies when hot, slow moving, uphill, at elevation (KrZy8)

Good point on the fans running alot. That could account for the low charging voltage.

Engine dies when hot, slow moving, uphill, at elevation (KrZy8)

I don't see how a tank vent issue would impact the charging voltage as you indicated?

    Valve guide material?

The FJR (Gen 1) valve guide problem was caused by valve guide seals that were too tight on some of those early FJR's. The guide material was not the problem.
