    Broken Penske Clevis.

Bla bla bla bla.......................................... Just fix the damn thing and get on with having fun riding the FJR!

    Broken Penske Clevis.

Again I point out that there are alot of folks , myself included, using Ohlins rear shocks on the FJR and I have never heard of a clevis failure on them. Might want to look at that design for ideas.

    Broken Penske Clevis.

You folks might also want to look at the yoke design used on the Ohlins shock. I'm not aware of any failures with that shock. I've had 3 of the Ohlins for over 65000 miles and no problems.

Never had any problems with my Ohlins shock.

    My Spider Bite Story

Good job! As good as Yamaha seems to be with the design of most of the FJR mechanical parts, I'm not impressed with their engineering and design of the electrical. And with the increased emphasis on using mare and more digital controls and circuits I'm just wondering if more electrical type...

2016 FJR1300A Check Engine Light On

Definitely time for the mother ship to come up with a redesign and recall!

    So, maybe you don't want a Gen 3 YCC-S

Careful, Yamaha may want to replace the throttle bodies. That seems to be the fix for every thing!!! LOL

    So, maybe you don't want a Gen 3 YCC-S

LOL! Sorry guys for the cheap comment. However, some times it just takes a mfgr. time to catch up to technology. Hell, even Boeing struggled with their latest designs and such things as the Li batteries and initial quality of their composit parts and assys. I'm sure mother Yamaha will get...

Rough idle and ECU codes 11 & 12

also make sure you haven't lost any of the little rubber caps on the throttle body vacuum ports.

    I didn't fall down...

Glad you wern't on a Gen 3 or you would have to replace the throttle bodies to get it running again!!! LOL Glad you didn't go down.

    Anyone beef up their suspension?

Traxion Dynamics AK20 front and Ohlins rear works for me!

    Ported Head

Why not look into turbo charging? With the relatively low compression I would think just some exhaust fabrication and custom dyno tuned fuel map would be the fastest way to boost up the power. Folks with Busas did this many times.

    2016 ES check engine light

Seems like there are a lot of poor design areas in the Gen 3's!
