    Tire pressure monitor

I installed a Kisan TPMS and I like the display. The sensors are a PITA to install though. I have a SmarTire system on my Busa. Unfortunately they no longer make the motorcycle systems. They've gone all OEM only. As for a waste of money? I got a low pressure warning on my Busa 30 miles from...

    Frankenbike LIVES!!!

Congrats on getting it running Howie. Now, go read the forum rules again. I think your thread starting post hit all three bold items. "You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory...

    PNW Fall Tech day

Looks like you all had a great time. Sorry I missed this. I was passed out until almost noon (pain meds so I could sleep). I got most of my FJR put back together today. I still have a few wire routing/cleanup to do tomorrow before I can button everything up. The Kisan TPS kit is a pain to...

    PNW Fall Tech day

I won't be there tomorrow. My FJR isn't back together yet. The Busa is still in pieces and I can't afford to drive the truck down right now. Having no income for almost three months sucks.

    Urine or you're out

I agree that Welfare recipients should be randomly drug tested. They should also be required to get a job and keep it. That would be about 1 billion less tax money spent on people that want to be useless fodder.

    New helmet arrived today

It's not how old the helmet is. It's how long the helmet has been used. Even then if it's never hit the ground with you head in it, and it still fits properly snug, you have a good helmet that can be used for many more years.

Penguin's daughter trapped in burning car.

Glad she is okay. Fires can turn bad real fast. At least she had everything at the track to help her.

    PNW Fall Tech day

The Busa is undergoing a face lift. The dash is in pieces on my workbench. It would take more to get that one finished than the FJR. If I can get the beads tomorrow I will be in business with the FJR.

    PNW Fall Tech day

I need to balance my front tire and get it back on tomorrow. If I can get the FJR put back together before Friday I will be there.

    Adjustable Side Vents

Yep, as already stated it's out to direct cold air away from the rider. That's it. It has nothing to do with heat.

    PNW Fall Tech day

So far, the forecast is dry and overcast. I'm still in pending mode. I will know later this week if I can make it.

    wrecked my bike

Wow. Glad you two are okay. It could have been much worse, but it could have been better also. Look into textile gear with good venting. It can be pretty comfortable, and cost much less than a skin graft. Try on several brands and types.

    registration/liceince feess

I just had to pay registration on my Busa. $30 per year + $49 in other taxes.

Hardest two hours I worked since starting this job

That FJR should be up and running soon if you keep that up. Guess I need to stay off the streets in a few days. :P

vol210 [Jim] has moved from Harbor View Hospital

Any updates on Jim. It's been almost two months since the last one. Keep working on the recovery Jim! We're thinking about you.

Hi Visabily clothing & the Police

Motorcycle troopers in WA tend to wear short-sleeve shirts and thin breathable pants when the temps get around 70 or higher. I ride in full track leathers on the weekends and I never get hot enough to be uncomfortable.

    another atgatt success story

Sorry about the crash. It hurts even with full gear, but it hurts much less. If you think parts for our bikes are spendy, price out skin grafts. People parts cost much, much more.

Hi Visabily clothing & the Police

Hi-Viz gear will only draw compliments from troopers. Riding like a squid is what attracts them.

How could I have been so irresponsible?

3M General Adhesive spray glue also works well, and can be found in many stores.
