Fishing line injury to motorcyclist's neck

I would have gone hyper-postal on those punks. The content of my intended actions will remain private.

    Tire wear issue

From the pics it looks like the tire was about 10 or 15 pounds low on air. The FJR is pretty heavy and needs 38-42 lbs of air to keep the proper contact patch, and the proper tire profile when riding. I run 39 front and 40 rear. That feels the best to me on my FJR. I run 36 front and 37 on the...

Fishing line injury to motorcyclist's neck

I think the pranksters need to be choked with fishing line until it leaves them with a scar, or worse, but that's just my thoughts on it.

Good pictures of the tire could help get you better information about the issue.

    Rider Magazine

I had my doubts about the AE. I bought one just for something a bit different. I had an 07 A, so I already know how the standard model rides and feels. After getting used to the AE for slow speed maneuvers it is just enjoyable as an A model. The hand shifter option is also great for me since...

Blue threadlocker. How long until it dries?

It will be dry before you can put away your tools and get your riding gear on.

Is that the racing bars, or stunt bars?

    That was.... strange

Did you call the police and report the wreck? You're required to make a statement in WA if you witness a wreck.

    EBC Brakes/Wave Rotors

I put Galfers on my Busa because they have been tested by many Hayabusa riders to resist warping with HH pads. The factory discs didn't hold up to the extended braking sessions on the track with EBC HH pads. The FJR has good bite with the factory sintered pads. They have more initial bite once...

Does your bike get mad at you?

Sounds like the battery was a bit low. It may have had enough power to crank or run the sparkplugs, but not both.

    HEAT!

We broke all the past records for the day, and the higest Seattle temp ever recorded, according to King 5 last night.

    Need More Brakes!

Great response Andy! On the rotor issue, Yes HH pads will eat the stock rotors. I warped the stock rotors on my Busa in 8k miles, some of it on a road race track, using EBC HH pads. The stock rotors were warped 4mm out of factory tollerance. I replaced them with Galfer rotors. The Galfers are...

    Question on greasy brand-new tires

Motorcycle tire manufacture quit using mold release compound like 5 or more years ago. The liability was way too high with several court cases from ridiers that had crashed. They changed the mold process and the molds. They all now use a multi-part tire form. The heat from the molding form...
