I've never thought about Memorial Day Like This…

Best post I've seen in a while. Wife and I are both Army Vets. Amen.

Steep, Crooked, and the Shiny Side Up

Best RR I've read in a long, long time. Arkansas has been my destination of choice for several years now, with or without my better half. Some of the solitary trips can really wake you up to the best things in life. Thanks!

How many FJRs do you see on an average day?

Just riding around town and on trips for the last two years - never seen another one unless I'm at the Yammy Dealership. Saw more than a few at the big Progressive Bike Show in Dallas last year. That was cool.

    Repair Manuals

I had the same confusion when looking to order a manual. Looked at every label I could find on the bike for a hint but no luck. "C" must be California. Thanks to each of you.

    To The High Country - June/July 2013

Burnspot, Holy Cow! Such quick turnaround on a question! I'll look into Premier Cycle and keep the weight concerns in mind. I've had my FJR for less than two weeks and have to adjust to the differences from my old pair of wheels. (A 2000 750 Nighthawk on which many LD camping trips were...

    To The High Country - June/July 2013

Burnspot, Wow! You gave a wonderful account of your loooong journey. Loved both the pic's and the narrative. Planning my own solo camping trip to Colorado very soon. In two of your photos, I see a very practical rear luggage rack. Is it home made or from an aftermarket supplier? Any info...
