As others have said wear depends on the riders boot, I wear mine sooner and stock up on spares.

You will need to switch out the flasher relay in the front cowling to get rid of the fast flash pattern.

I tried led brake lights and keep getting a flashing ABS light on my 09. My 06 had no problems with the led brake lights.
