I bought a truck through Costco. The dealership HAS to stick to the price they give you. If they move off that price, then they will get their Coscto deal pulled.
Just a note of thanks to all those that contributed to the CCT thread. I did mine yesterday and it went smoothly and was actually easier than what I was expecting.
If you are looking at buying one from a dealership, I'd steer clear of Fun Bike. I have not had really good experiences there. I would suggest Escondido Cycle Center or North County Yamaha.
If nobody has any, Wild Hair Accessories was the outfit that did the group buy on the lines and pads. I don't know if they still carry them or not though.
Add me to the list of KLR owners. I have an '02 that I have done quite a few things to. They are great bike, just like a Timex. You know that old saying :)
I can relate. I've been on the hunt for a '55-'57 Chevy truck. I looked at one that was "rust free." HA! I dragged my wife with me. From a distance it looked great. The closer you got the more rust you could see. The chrome grill had spots of rust on it. The paint was bubbling in...
I used to wear Shoei. After a couple of hours, I would get a major headache, as they never did fit right. I tried on a Suomy, and bought it. I won't buy another make of helmet other than these. The inside pads are removeable and replaced easily. It's very comfortable! The only drawback is...
Wow! I'm surprised to hear this. My wife and I just visited Boise and I found the drivers there to be very good! I even brought my bicycle with me and rode around your city. I was given all kinds of room and never "buzzed", honked at, or given the one finger wave. I couldn't even wave a car...
Ask him for the VIN. Then go to the local police department and explain that you are interested in the bike and you just want to know the status of the title, clear, salvage, etc. If the police department won't help, then go the DMV.
Non-mc related. I have a couple of old cable modems, one a Toshiba and the other a Linksys. They are free for whomever would like them. All I ask is that you pay the shipping. They both work fine and come with the power cords.
