    Seafoam

Years ago I had a CB750F that wouldnt idle after sitting for the winter. Put STP gas treatment in it and it eventually cleaned it out, never had to touch the carbs. Granted, before gasohol and injectors.

Hudson: Thanks for the in depth info. I'm seriously considering waiting a year or two and hope to find a leftover Stelvio. Great idea about stocking up parts. Greg

    Guzzi

I have a dealer within 30 miles Fast by Ferracci- has a great reputation for handling all the Italian bikes. I'm looking at the Stelvio NTX. I'll try to test ride one this fall, then maybe pull the trigger next spring/summer if I like it... Thanks for the input guys! Greg

    Guzzi

Love my FJR, but being very tall, I'm considering the new Guzzi adventure bike. Anyone have experience with recent Guzzis?

Should I stay or should I go?

If I was going to get a Harley, I'd get the VROD with mid mount controls. They handle well, have power, and can be toured up with accessories. JMHO

    non modular Blue Tooth helmets?

I just want to listen to tunes, and have cell phone linked as well for emergencies. I have a BT modular helmet now, but find it very noisy. I may do as suggested and buy the helmet of my choice and add J & M, unless I can find integrated non modular helmet.

    non modular Blue Tooth helmets?

Does anyone make a non modular helmet that has BT stereo capability? I've been looking, but can't seem to find one. TIA, Greg

I hope it has more legroom than the FJR for us taller folks. If it does, I'm switching!

I can live with mono BT, I think I've narrowed it down to the 550. If anyone on the board has one to sell, please PM me. Thanks everyone! Greg

Bramfrank: Good info! Still leaning toward the 550. Greg

    need advice on gps

Thanks for the insights. I'm leaning towards the 550. I can actually sync my phone and MP3 directly to my BT helmet, so I don't think I need a 660. I know I don't post much, but again, the forum members here are fantastic! :P

I just don't know if the buttons make it easier, or is touch screen easier? Anyone who has had both feel free to chime in!

    need advice on gps

I'm finally going to get a GPS for the bike. I have a BT helmet, and use it for music. Please give me your comments on 550, 660, or ? TIA Greg Sorry, should have put 500 or 660

    Heated Grips or Heated gloves

I have both, purchased wired gloves first, then my wife bought me batttery powered gloves for skiing. I find I use the battery powered more often, since I usually don't do long rides during the winter. If you don't plan on riding for more than 5-6 hours, get the battery powered. JMHO

    I'm a dumb sh**

UPDATE; Constant mesh is correct- I was able to screw the cap on to the wire with no problem, and I just synched the injectors- it's running perfect. Thanks again everyone, especially SkooterG for sending me some spares. Greg
