transmission or clutch binding -heavy steering

Update: I finally got a chance to check it again. It is leaking out the top of the valve stem. So, I assume if I get a valve tightener tool at Pep Boys, it should fix it. Thanks to everyone who gave opinions, feel free to dog pile, since i missed it the first time. Gregarious

that's a good thought. I'll try the soapy water trick. Can't find any puncture or hole anywhere on the tire. Thanks for all the help!

transmission or clutch binding -heavy steering

cancel that> I found the problem. The rear tire has virtually no air in it. Havent found the cause yet, but I'm happy that it isn't anything major. Just a PITA!

transmission or clutch binding -heavy steering

I have a 2006, with 7600 miles on it. Rode it yesterday with no problems. Today, I took it off the center stand, and as I pushed it back out of my garage, it had significant resistance, like the clutch is dragging. I took it slowly down the block, and it steers really heavy, like something is...

    GenMar risers question

On my old 03, risers are simply installed with the longer bolts. As long as you save the original bolts, you can go back to stock easily, I think, on 06-08.

    A motorcylist is dead...

I live about 45 minutes outside Lancaster, PA, and all the buggies I see have reflective triangles on the back. There are a lot of corners and blind spots in certain areas of Lancaster, and accidents happen fairly often, unfortunately.

    Hot diggity dog!

I bought them from Wingstuff, who returned them to Tourmaster. I assume that Tourmaster reimbursed Wingstuff. Tourmaster has always had a good reputation, and wants to keep it. The manager at Wingstuff told me that they had several returned with no problems from Tourmaster. It...

    Hot diggity dog!

I had the Synergy jacket liner and gloves as a christmas present. I ended up returning both of them, as each of the controllers broke within 3 rides. I hope you have better luck. When they worked, they really put out nice heat. Gregarious

I blew a chance to educate a young rider.

I dont have a problem with people not wearing helmets, etc. What i do have a problem with is the fact that they pay the same insurance rates as those of us who wear helmets, etc. do. I have life insurance (non smoker) and pay lower rates than smokers. Non Helmeted riders should pay higher...

    heated jacket and heated gloves

I have a heated jacket liner, and will be adding heated gloves. I have to replace my controller, so I need some advice from those who use both together. If I run them off the same controller, will my hands get too hot, my liner get too cold, or ? Should i buy a dual controller, which allows...

    Joe Rocket Helmets

I did a search and didnt find any information. Does anyone have experience with a Joe Rocket helmet? I tried one on a whim yesterday at my local dealer, and it was very comfortable. Anyone know if they make it themselves, or is it made by someone else and rebadged? Thanks!

    Deviated Septum

I had a deviated septum fixed, along with having many polyps removed from my sinuses. it wasnt a picnic, but after about a week of steroids to keep the swelling down, along with Percocet, I was pretty well recovered. The thing I would tell you is to get the gauze taken out as soon as they'll...
