    Bridgestone T31 GT or T31 non-GT

Thanks. Yes, new rubber always feels better. The added cushioning is much more comfortable too! And, yes, I saw the RMATV deal. Chaparral is local, though, and matches prices if I call. So I'll probably get them there and still get the rebate. :) I actually think I might buy two sets, which...

    Bridgestone T31 GT or T31 non-GT

Que NEPRT: Alright, I'm buying these T31s today. Should I go GT or non-GT?? I'm inclined to go GT. But I did find the PR4GT to be very stiff. I'm 180 out of shower, ride one-up, sometimes with loaded panniers and a 70L dry duffel full of camping stuff (like once a year). I'm expecting the...

"I want you to enjoy your bike."

Happy to see you are having better days, mcatrophy. I have followed this thread, too, for the past couple years. I've empathized from afar, but, evidently, have not posted. To see your tributes and lasting affection for your wife is touching, to put it lightly. A couple things crossed my mind...

    Time for a new mistress

Beautiful bike. Congrats! I had both once upon a time too. And I loved both. Selling the Tenere was a financial decision. I literally could not decide which to sell so I had both for sale. The Tenere ultimately was the one to go. But I'd love another and have often considered just plain...

    Oil

I was buying Quicksilver 20w50 motorcycle oil for a while from Walmart. It started out very cheap and some early analysis indicated it held up well. The price has crept up a couple bucks but still good value. I've also used the Rotella T6 and I have a couple jugs somehow so I'll probably use it...

LOW mile '14 ES - Not mine, but cheap. $7k

Wow. That was fast. 3 days; 1 Saturday. When you want a bike to move fast a low price makes all the difference! Hopefully the buyer has no issues titling it. It would have been perfect for you! A short drive from Scottsdale and no CARB hangups! ...there'll be another.

LOW mile '14 ES - Not mine, but cheap. $7k

I added a disclosure to my OP. I don't want someone in CA buying this due to my pointing them to the ad, and then being unable to title it here.

LOW mile '14 ES - Not mine, but cheap. $7k

I hear you. I actually suspect it is real. I also suspect it is priced low because whoever buys it will have an issue titling it in CA. The owner (not sure if he lurks here, but anyway) said he has reservations about selling it. He also said he would like to sell if before titling it here in...

FJR/FJ OEM Saddle Bags on AdvRider - Not mine - but someone may be interested

The city lids. Nice. These would be handy for us Ca folks. The narrower bags would make splitting through the tight spots a little easier. :)

LOW mile '14 ES - Not mine, but cheap. $7k

Haha. Ya, I did. I've seen that story in passing, but never paid enough attention to actually catch the guy's name. Lol But, yea, scamming on a FJR sounds like something Jussie would do too.

LOW mile '14 ES - Not mine, but cheap. $7k

I just texted. No mention of "Jussie." lol I googled the phone number first. It's a MD area code. There are references to it in ad postings for a marina in Maryland. I got pictures of a couple rubs on the right sidebag from boots, along with an explanation that it is MD titled and the owner...
