The lender is Capital One, who handled Yamaha's financing for brief time I think in 2016. Effectively, it's a Yamaha "credit card" with a low rate for the new bike purchase and a more typical credit card rate for other dealership purchases (which I never made). They announced several months ago...

Other sets have gone for about $400, give or take shipping. YMMV +/-. The FJ-09 guys like them too, because they fit on their bikes and hold more stuff than the city cases. You might consider marketing them on an FJ-09 forum also.

Thanks, Abercrombie. I think the "racing" pipes alone are enough for tickets. I'm not sure most LEOs are that concerned, tho. Pipes are common. The block-offs on the other hand are a little harder to spot.

Do you need other mods with these, e.g. k&n, PC, etc? (GenIII here). Yeah, my hesitation is $ related also. My FJR is actually for sale, although I'm not that motivated as I love the bike. :) Doesnt mean I'm out, just explains lollygaggin. Oh, and potential tickets are a minor concern. Haha.

Mmm...I think these would look very nice on my graphite FJR. :) They don't appear Cali legal, but I'm not sure that is often an issue.
