That stretch was a highlight of the trip! It was getting towards late afternoon or early evening (with plenty of daylight). I encountered hardly any cars and the road was wide open. It was a very good run. :D

Thanks, guys. It was pretty epic. Not sure when I'll get to do a ride like that again. I ride nearly daily and, even though I crave more, that ride scratched itch for a while! :D

Heh... I need way more than two! :D If I could get out of my 2015 I'd seriously considering going for an older model to save $$$. I love the 2015, but I know the older ones are just as good save for a couple bells and whistles. Thought about posting the 2015... Probably wind up just keeping...

I think I suggested ACH before the sinkhole happened. Not sure if it's open. CalTrans should say. It was supposed to be closed for some time, so I imagine it still is. I can try to do some recon for you. I'll try to post back soon.
