I would take a hard look at the new Suzuki GSXS-1000 GTA (Canadian Model only I think). All the reviews are very good and it weighs about 140 lbs. lighter with roughly the same horsepower. There doesn't seem to be as much protection but this is a scenario where the FJR doesn't exist....

I may be on the wrong track here but my '09 actually had the handlebar adjustments wrong from the dealer when new..... As in your case, the grips and my arms didn't seem to be right. It's worth a look.

Item #15 is "Hose 1" and #18 is a Joint for Hose 1 ("Joint, Hose 1"). It connects hose 1 and hose 2 but is not a hose itself but rather a joint. You have to rearrange the item description as you would a name in a roll call like Smith, Bill.

Try doing the same on a patch of gravel, albeit a bit slower.

i haven't used it much yet but I downloaded CoPilot for my Samsung. It allows you to download maps that are pretty specific to an area. I don't know how detailed or accurate the maps are but it does seem to work pretty well initially plus you're not using any data from your cellular plan.
