    Ignition coils failed

Find it hard to believe you'd have two independent coils fail simultaneously. Not been reported here that I can find, only older models with the shared (2+4 & 1+3) external coils, and that is extremely rare. There have been bad batches of coils in some models (i.e. Gen II FZ1) that have been...

    FJR in curves and twisties..?

Here.. track day on the FJR: https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php/topic/173233-another-track-day/ His comment about legs hurting - nothing to do with the bike. I could barely walk after a day at the track on my FZ1..

    FJR in curves and twisties..?

My $0.02.. In my first year of FJR ownership, I rode my significantly modified FZ1 twice. The *only* times I noticed the weight of the FJR was when I first bought it, and then after riding the FZ1. Hence, I traded it for my 2nd FJR.. :)

North American Wild Card Moto-Tag Game

Kennesaw House, Marietta, GA Built as a cotton warehouse by John Glover in 1845, the Kennesaw House is one of Marietta’s oldest buildings. Dix Fletcher purchased the warehouse in 1855, and after remodeling it, opened the Fletcher House Hotel in its place. During the early years of the Civil...

    My Friday driving experience

Did the Lambo also have a Total sticker on it like the Aston? :) Sucks for the driver but the pro should have known better. That's why they're along with you. I did extreme a few years ago, here at AMP. Drove the lambo and an R8. Let my daughter go out in the lambo as well.

    black cherry touch up paint

Many years later, that part number is not available but the replacement appears to be: BGM0532 - in case anyone is looking (I was..)

Lesson learned: Go easy on the key when opening/closing panniers!

I wonder if there's any correlation between people that do their own maintenance, and broken keys?

    Relay Arm Service

FWIW, the same parts are virtually dry from the factory for both Gens of FZ1. As are the swingarm pivot shafts.

Factory recalls on used bikes ?

Previous owner of my '07 only had it for a few months, but he had his local dealer take care of the outstanding recalls.

North American Wild Card Moto-Tag Game

Well, regardless, here's a pic of a franchise eatery, not fast food. (although I just spotted fast food next door, after I posted here!) Next - with a military aircraft, not necessarily on a stick!

    2018 FJR Details Released

I love this color.. I just picked up a pristine, stock 07, and had planned to transfer my goodies over from my "weathered" 08. Now I'm thinking I might have to just trade it against my first new bike, ever...

    09 FJR--two-up floppiness?

I'll add - compared to a Gen I ('01) FZ1, I find NO difference in slow-speed behavior between that and the FJR when 2-up. The slightest twitch of the passenger has more effect than anything. The FJR IS more stable in general, no doubt due to the additional weight.
