Went down this p.m. on my way home from work

Whether to ride or not is a very personal decision, and because it is I no longer actively encourage others to ride (or not ride)...much. I've commuted regularly in LA traffic for many years and have had numerous close calls. Some closer than others. I've also had many close calls while not...

LA-Vegas-Cedar City-Denver, and as much in between as possible!

That stretch was a highlight of the trip! It was getting towards late afternoon or early evening (with plenty of daylight). I encountered hardly any cars and the road was wide open. It was a very good run. :D

Thanks, guys. It was pretty epic. Not sure when I'll get to do a ride like that again. I ride nearly daily and, even though I crave more, that ride scratched itch for a while! :D

Matching 2007 FJRs for sale (Denver) - SOLD

Heh... I need way more than two! :D If I could get out of my 2015 I'd seriously considering going for an older model to save $$$. I love the 2015, but I know the older ones are just as good save for a couple bells and whistles. Thought about posting the 2015... Probably wind up just keeping...

Nice gift! And if your bike is anything like the google images I found it is one nice looking machine! Very modern looking for the year. Maybe keep it around as a back up?

LA-Vegas-Cedar City-Denver, and as much in between as possible!

As some of you know, I finally did it! I've been planning this epic adventure for a few months, beginning back in April. I had been looking for the right combination of weather and time. Just before I had to return to classes to finish my 3rd year of law school, I asked my mom if she'd mind...

Another year, another CA trip planning

Some local folks are telling me ACH is open all the way now. Might have to go check it out for myself!

Another year, another CA trip planning

I've sent the word out looking for intel. As an alternative, you could ride ACH up as far as possible and if you run into a closure you could double back, get in Upper Big Tujunga, go over to Angeles Forest Hey, head north to Mt. Emma, over to Big Pines up to Wrightwood and then down 138 to...

Another year, another CA trip planning

I think I suggested ACH before the sinkhole happened. Not sure if it's open. CalTrans should say. It was supposed to be closed for some time, so I imagine it still is. I can try to do some recon for you. I'll try to post back soon.
