    Anyone ever use D&D exhuast?

I'm thinking of getting a set of D&D exhaust for the FJR and was wondering if any of you have ever used them? I am looking at their 'Show & Go' Aluminum Dual Slip On Exhaust and was curious if any of you have any feedback on them. I used one of their exhaust systems on a 4-wheeler once, but...

    Need help!

Update... The shop I took it to and I were both wrong. My front tire may have been out of balance, but it became very apparent on my way back to Charleston today that it wasn't what was causing my issue. I am now about 90% sure that Bustanut joker and RaYzerman19 were right. I believe that...

    Need help!

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. Got into a shop today and the front tire was out if balance. don't know why it started having problems after 1000 miles, but they balanced it and it rides great again. Thanks again. Josh

    Need help!

I thought the same thing at first, but if it was wheel bearings wouldn't there be other signs? I had the bearings go out on a bike once and it made a god awful noise and you could feel resistance just trying to push it. Could the wheel bearing be bad without having signs like that?

    Need help!

I looked over everything the best I could on the side of the road and nothing jumped out at me. I'm not sure that it's not the tire. It's not to bad until you get up to highway speeds, but then the bike tracks all over the road. I made it to the greenville area though. I didn't have anyone to...

    Need help!

It doesn't look like I lost a weight. These are new tires with only about 1000 miles on them. I'm going to take my time, but try to make it to greenville and get it to a shop first thing in the morning.

    Need help!

I checked tire pressure it's good. I font think it's s bearing issue cause I can push the bike and it seems fine. I will t try to get the front tire off the ground and go from there.

    Need help!

I'm probably half way between colombia, sc and greenville, sc and all the sudden my bike has developed a wobble. It feels almost like I an on a metal grate bridge or something. Any ideas on what I can check while at this rest stop? I have a few tools but not even sure what could be causing it...

    Can't Wait!

I made it to Charleston! I got here Sunday. The ride down was great. I am gonna have to get some grip puppies and and some kind of throttle lock before I head back to Michigan. If anybody is in Charleston and want to get together for a ride, let me know. Josh

    Can't Wait!

I'm sure it will be great. There is a lot of good riding in that area. I actually plan on retiring in that area some day.

    Can't Wait!

Will do. My wife's whole family is from Greer, so I have been there a ton of times, but this will be the first time on a bike. Looking forward to enjoying some of the nice riding that is in that area. I will be in school Monday thru Friday, but I will have the weekends off so we will have to...

    Can't Wait!

So, I got orders to a school in Charleston for 5 weeks. I figured what better time to take a 950 mile bike ride! I'm really looking forward to the ride. I hate that I'm going to be away from the family for that long, but it will be really nice to have the weekends to get away and take some...

Going Flat Black, piece by piece

The truck bedliner fades really bad. It holds up good, but looks grey before long.

Going Flat Black, piece by piece

Ceramic coat is the way to go for the pipes if you have the money. I have done 4 our 5 harleys with the flat black look and that is the way to go. You could use VHT paint on the pipes, but you will always be touching it up.

    FJR Tech Day IV

Yeah, your not to far. I've been to Muskegon a few times. I've got a buddy who does tattoos up there. I'd be cool with meeting up somewhere along the way.

    FJR Tech Day IV

Just looked on mapquest, 2 hours and 40 minutes, I'm in. If anybody has the TBS tool let me know. If not I was thinking about buying it anyway so I will probably just buy it. I would like to have someone who has done it around when I do it the first time. I'm no newbie with a wrench, but its...
