    It's awesome. I did 2 weeks last year all over California and Oregon on my vfr. The fjr will carry much more. Took the coast home back to BC. The best part is fellow campers feed you. And other camping bikers always get together to swap stories

    Welcome. I started in dirt bikes as well. I just picked up my first heavy too. I love the fjr. Surprisingly easy to ride at slow speed.

    Tall Rider & Wind Buffeting? - 2nd Gen

    I have the same questions. I just picked up a 2016 with the Yamaha touring screen. I'm 6'1" and am looking for a buffet ing solutions. It's not terribly bad but I'm hoping to find something that will work on long rides into the wind. I will keep checking this thread

    Ya the fjr is a beast compared to the vfr but I said the same thing when I went from my cbr 600 to the vfr. Lol What I'm really surprised by is how easy it is to get on the center stand. Almost easier than the viffer

    Just picked up my 2016 with 84kil. Yesterday. Came from 06 vfr which is gonna be missed but time marches on. Gotta get some new tires but after that it's ready to go on some long trips
