I did, I have no spare parts. :) It just seems to be too long. This is as far in as it goes (wahcked it with a rubber mallet as much as I dare). The friction sleeve is flush against the throttle tube.

Help me please, :blink: I just purchased a set of Throttlemeisters and can't for the life of me figure it out. It appears that the inner adaptor is too long as the end just isn't close enough to the friction sleeve.. by alot! I have an '05, and that's what the assembly DEstructions say I...
