Always love those picture heavy west coast ride reports!I'll be revisiting this report in a few months when I'm knee deep in cabin fever in the Ohio winter.

It looks accidental to me.It looks like someone scraped it with their vehical from front to back,realized they scraped it and backed up to get off it.The front fenders on that Jeep look about the right hight...just saying.It still sucks,they should have left a note with contact information.

BTW,my 100,000 miles in SEO pales in comparison to the Grey Ghost over in Newark...he has over 400,000 on his Gen 1.Now that's amazing!!!

Thanks to everyone for coming to the gathering of the Yamaha triples.2 Tracers,a FJ09,a FZ9 and a FJR.Especially thanks to Ray for posting the ride...and bringing the laughs.It's always fun Ray.The weather was nearly perfect and ODOT came through again with good road surfaces on all State routes...

I'd like to stay with the Fuel Mart.Most of the good stuff is on the West side of SEO anymore, especially one newly paved snake that gives 536 a run for the money.The just finished paving last Saturday... hopefully they didn't do any edging this week.

Are you going to keep a place in Ohio?I'll give you about a year and then I'll head down and you can show me all the good roads you found.

West Virginia being number one is a little surprising to me.They don't seem to be as skittish as Ohio deer.In my experience they'll just stand there whereas an Ohio deer will bolt out in front of you in a heart beat.I've never hit one on a bike but I've had plenty of close calls.I had one run...

New tire on the FJ 09 yesterday and 50 degrees Wednesday so I should be able to break it in then.Our weather has been going back and forth between single digits and 50 degrees about every four days,which gives me one or two days a week to ride.
