if you are using the split connecter plug for hard wiring to bike power. seperate power to gps and audio plug to mix- it. sometimes the audio plug dosen't make a good connection, if you unplug slightly it will increase the volume as it should be. i just had the same problem. garmin exchanged it...

i have dealt with Cahill's for a bunch of years, bought my 06 from them as well as other bikes and parts. they are good people. have to take mine in on the 20th. for the 600 mi. a little late, got 4300+ on her. :D only complaint is right wrist pain. overall great ride! randy

don't know about Canadian bikes, but my 06 appears not to have self canciling signals. i tend to hit the button after every turn anyway, so no big deal. randy
