Well, I did it. Got another motorcycle. She’s gorgeous. She’s red. She’s….a BMW (ominous music plays). Pristine 2016 BMW GSA with no miles, loads of extras. Picked her up in November and then proceeded to battle COVID and pneumonia for almost two months - don’t even remember what she rides like...

DIdn’t bother me, Bounce, but my politics haven’t belonged in Oregon since I moved here in 1991. I didn’t vote for any of the trash occurring up here right now and have spent a fair amount of time in the street since mid-May battling those who did. I might even be too conservative for Texas...

Stuck in Oregon for another 2 1/2 years but looking for another home in the Ft. Worth area these days. Light at the end of the tunnel, literally.

Hey strangers, I attended this meeting last night...as part of my job. It was quite interesting, from a few of my different perspectives (citizen rider, former police motor officer, State Police Area Commander...). I'd estimate there were about 150+ in attendance and probably 30+ provided...

I'm embarassed to say how long it's been since I've been able to get out for a ride. What's ridiculous is that I'm paying to insure my bike right now.

That did sound a bit ass-ish. Certainly ignorant. The dead guy had a helmet. It wasn't the SUV's fault. She is not supposed to have to drive into stopped traffic just because motorcycles are on her butt. 'Nuff said. Going back into hibernation.

Our priority was getting I-5 back open on a Friday afternoon, not searching bikes or bikers for drugs after they scattered across the freeway. This is me not commenting on this thread, by the way. :pig_ball:
