Looking for info on my recently purchased FJR.

I'd start with changing ALL fluids, brake, oil, coolant and perhaps fork oil. Check and or replace air filter and inspect the brake pads, then go ride it :)

Took a while but it finally caught up

I'm glad you made it through the crash mostly unscathed and understand how fast the crash can be but for the love of Mike stay away from laces on shoes when riding a moto for many reasons. Yours came off faster than a Prom dress, I never even thought that would happen but now it can be added to...

    The Why Not 2024

Thanks for the update JP. A few of us southerners were wondering if there was going to be another Why Not. Glad to hear it's back on the radar. All the best to you and Mel dealing with your Mom's care. You are a good son.

    RIP marcusorelius

Some of you old timers may remember Mark Eddy and his dog Duke and then Duchesses from the early Ruben runs in La Pine, Or. I have kept in touch with Mark via Facebook and rode with him in Arizona some years back. His sister posted this on fb.... "I post with a heavy heart. My brother Mark...

Do you prefer riding jeans, or textile?

Don't be a cheap arse. Buy the quality textile. Be sure the jacket will zip to the pants to avoide it from riding up your torso in case you end up sliding down the road. In 2012 Bambi totaled my 04 FJR near Mt St. Helens and I spent some quality time sliding down the center of the highway at 55...

Aussie's in Ca need help with 03 fuel injectors

Talked to Kevin, he cleaned injectors today(not too bad) and the bike ran idling but died when twisting throttle. He checked the fuel pressure and it was really low. New fuel pump on order. Thanks for all the calls and help!

Aussie's in Ca need help with 03 fuel injectors

Kevin and Marie are back in the US traveling on their 03 FJR. Long story short is the the bike sat 4 years in Texas and all went well when he fired it up (parked with a full tank of petro) but after riding to Ca it would not run right. He pulled the fuel pump and discovered rust - big time...

Black Hills Rendezvous FJR/DUAL SPORT/ADV Bike - "Non-Rally" in the Black Hills June 20-23 2024 Steak Dinner and Registration now open!

Go! The Black Hills are unique and well worth the ride there. Not all that far from Texas on a FJR, just point it north and pin the throttle.

    FJR1300 Eastern Owners Meet - EOM - 2024 - Update

The wife would divorce me and take all my $$. I'd have to move in with you but at least once there I would have my choice of which FJR to ride each day. 😛

    FJR1300 Eastern Owners Meet - EOM - 2024 - Update

Go! It's a great location, even better people. I was hoping to make it from the left coast this year but my son is getting married and they won't change the dates for me;)

General consensus - Should I rebuild calipers on 2013 A at 24k miles?

I have a slight downhill gravel driveway, easy to activate the abs at a safe slow speed. YRMV

    Going to the Dark Side

If I had your money Fred I'd buy a new tire. However being the cheap *** ....err frugal guy I am I'd run the old one. Clear as mud, eh? 10 years is a loooooong time.
