    905 Crash Bars

HellCreep, I'm glad both you and your bike are OK. I think I would have died of a heart attack before the bike hit the ground thinking about the possible damage to such a work of art! ~Mark

    How would Yamaha do it?

+1 Umm, for people like me who have added some weight with each "model year" it would be far easier to drop 50lbs from the rider. This would probably result in a performance increase for both me and my FJR. I wonder how many of us fall into this category? Further, I wonder how many of us are...

    Dropped this top-heavy PITA today

I've ALMOST dropped my bike twice, the first time was when I drove down a ramp in a parking lot to the automatic gate, which would not %%&*($#% open for a motorcycle. I had to get off the bike and push it back up hill and then get back on still at a significant slant and get her turned around...

    I75N, Dallas, Saturday afternoon

So I was riding to a Chili cookoff from downtown to Richardson on 75N and much to my surprise, I see four bikes pull on the next ramp and 3 of them are FJRs! Now my son and I had just come from the bike show and did not see anybody from here that we knew. I was expecting to see alot of bikes...

:yahoo: I just realized that today marks exactly three years since I joined this forum. That represents hundreds of hours of reading, even before I managed to get my 07 FJR. Thanks Warchild, the other admins, and all the great FJR pilots who contribute so much to this community. The FJR is a...

    What head light bulbs

Careful Spike, you have three posts here and two of them are linking to this vendor who BTW, is for another motorcycle. In fact, in the other post, you resurrected a year old thread which mentioned buell in order to get this link in (it seems like). This board does not take kindly to shills, so...

Little to Complain About, But Still ...

I honestly hope I don't ever find someone sitting on my bike without permission :aggressive: , I know it's not right, but my first inclination would be to walk up and knock the living daylights out of them. :grrr:

    Hit & Run Accident

Damage to the bike looks mostly cosmetic, you should be able to fix it with some decent rubbing compound. Also, it looks like the frame sliders really saved you some damage. :dribble: Seriously, Thank God you weren't hurt alot worse. I think it was a combination of good gear and grace...
