    Which GPS to get???

That a pretty nice unit. So if you draw a really twisty road, does it show up in real life? :D

    07 FJRs available

I get all my parts from Matthews Fun Machines or Interstate Powersports in Cornelius. Tee up at Matthews Fun machines is a great guy. A buddy of mine introduced me to them, and now whenever I buy local, its from them. Also a place in Rock hill "Alpha Motorsports" seem to have the right customer...

    07 FJRs available

They are still there as of tuesday. I head over there once in a while during lunch....just to look around. They started out with 1 FJR back in July, then the second one showed up around August. I tryed to work with them a little on price before I got my 06, but they really did not budge...

    Which GPS to get???

Looks like BMW put their spin on the Zumo 550, though I see nothing more other than some cosmetics. Clicky I am in the market as well, but the Zumo is just too pricey for me. May just get a Nuvi 660 and take my chances on the moisture/vibration weaknesses. Right now, the G2 throttle and the...

    Belgium, this Bud's for you

Thankfully, they have the choice, and a great product. Can't eat wings/scrambled eggs without it. :-) Problem is, many companies have already sold out through foreign investment, and stock purchases. Then, once a majority holder, the decisions are made easily and for entirely different reasons...

    totaled my '08

Very odd, though I am no expert. The expectations from the insurance company is of course to get you to release that medical liability, the bike should really be an afterthought to them. From what I do know about insurance around here, the bike, and your medical are 2 totally seperate claims in...

    totaled my '08

That sucks! Atleast you made it through to ride another day. No idea on color, hoping to hear that myself. Just bought a used blue 06, but always looking over the rainbow for the next ride. :-) If you don't mind me asking......what is making the insurance company "difficult"?

    Thinking of FJR

From my experience prior to buying my FJR, the ST is a good machine, the FJR is a great machine. Likely get a FJR cheaper too, which for me means a little more spend for farkles. On this forum, we only speak the truth. :-)

    totaled my '08

I believe the type of insurance that does that full replacement is called GAP insurance. Especially good for new machines, especially fully financed ones. Hindsight is 20/20 though, so it'll all be in the rear view of the new bike soon anyway. ;)

    Yamaha Warranty.....Need Transfer?

Had a similar deal with a Kubota dealership. Think he finally realized he was getting the better profit from doing my service work, (Tractors and diesel engines are not exactly my specialty) and got over the attitude about losing the initial sale. The "Inspection" they mention seems pretty...

    Yamaha Warranty.....Need Transfer?

Lucky for me, I do have some choice of dealers.....and will definately take your advice Ignacio. Thanks! Oh, forgot to add one thing.... according to the contract, you have only 15 days from the date of sale to complete this transaction.

    Yamaha Warranty.....Need Transfer?

I am in the same situation with the warranty. I read about having to go through the dealer in the contract, but decided to try the phone call. Unfortunately, they would not budge. They advised to contact dealer. The dealer may ask to see the bike and charge a fee for the inspection/transfer...
