    2005 FJR $3800 in SoCal 11,700 miles

I never liked the decals. I think that I removed them within the first few months. I just wanted it to look clean. Anyway, it's still available today. My riding days are behind me now. She needs a good owner.

    2005 FJR $3800 in SoCal 11,700 miles

One owner bike. Just a few mild mods. Non ABS model. Never down, no drops, no wrecks. 11,700 miles - not a typo; that's all. Bike is in great condition. Orange County Craigslist post: https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/mcy/d/santa-ana-yamaha-fjr-1300/6933842396.html

    WFO-6 Check-in, please....

Back in the OC yesterday 12h 45min. Uneventful slab ride through miserable heat. Not enough can be said about the planners of the event; exceptional! WFO-5 (great) WFO-6 (even better) NAFO-1 (the best is yet to come)

    Home, safe and sound

So was that you with three other FJR's that Deb and I met up with in Baker between 2-3PM or some other hot riders? With stops we made the return trip in 12h 45min. The 112F in Baker was a little too much to take. We couldn't stop in that heat so we just kept going. Great time at WFO. We'll be...

    Uneven braking

I have a friends Busa in my garage because of a similar problem. The right-side caliper was completely locked-up (which caused the left side pads to roast). I have them off and disassembled - what a mess. Ordered replacement seals from Suzuki for $28/per side. Of course ordered new pads too...

What's with this forum? Please paint me a picture

Is there a reward for reading every word? In the end, after all of the emotions were exhausted, I think level of civility was pretty good. I'm a sideliner most of the time but read pretty much everything posted. I've seen it all, the flames, trolls and good help from good people. The good help...

    Spiegler brake lines

Jersey, do you need a few 'factory' banjo bolts? I solved my bolt problem today and have a few extra factory bolts that can be mailed. You will still need new crush washers but the bolts are fine.

    Speigler Brake lines

Rad, we can always count on you for a laugh... :D I spoke with Gary and he is willing help (as he always is) in any way that he can but I think that I'm just going to trim them with a Dremel and cutting wheel.

    Speigler Brake lines

So it appears that I'm the last one to install my Speigler brake lines and ABM rotor. I've searched the old threads but cannot find any duplication of my problem. The banjo bolts sent with my purchase are 1/8" longer than stock and are hitting-bottom long before the crush washers are even...

    Pick your fav's

my pick: 1. crop the bow of the boat out of the Oracle shot and that's a winner (the bow distracts me) 2. I like the contrails from the props in the first pic but I'm not sure the pic is sharp enough to enlarge. 3. rotate the Red Barons pic to have the planes flying from lower right to upper...
