thanks for the pic,i was able to mount the shock only removing the grey side plates. the Penske reservoir mount I assume is bolted on the back side of the chassis and not between the bracket and the bike chassis. Should be able to finish my install today. did the front forks with new springs...

Gp gave me the choice to make,I had them replace them, i am waiting for them to finish the rebuild and also order the penske shock. They "GP" have been great to work with and by the way they are giving me a forum member discount.

If they are not chrome they are still pitting,It was my choice to go ahead and replace them. I beleive if you are going to spend the money you might as well have it done right the first time. just thought everybody should start looking at theirs and see if they are having the same problem.

From what my friend tells me on his bike you can switch maps on the fly,he always changes his while the bike is idling, but he does not recommend it since it is kind of like trying to talk on the phone at the same time that you are driving. You tend to run into things if you know what I mean.
