    Tire Air Question

    Tire Air Question

I tested it again today for the fun of it under different road conditions. The bike at high speed 115 plus does feel considerably smoother with 36 front and rear tire. I then put 42 in the rear and 36 in the front. Then road it at the same speeds,. not near as smooth as with 36 and 36. Now I...

    Tire Air Question

I noticed at high speeds the bike feels much more comfortable less road vibes with 36 front and back. This was also mentioned in other bike forums a busa forum comes to mind. You would think they put it in the manual for a reason . I have been told the additional heat at high speed is...

    Tire Air Question

My manual says 42 PSI in the rear tire and 36 in the front also on the swing arm. In the manual but not on the swing arm it also recommends 36 in the rear and 36 in the front for HIGH SPEED TRAVEL. I tested it and I think I know why. Why?

    2 brothers noise suppressors

I have the P1x's on my Two Brothers because they advertised the largest DB reduction, 7 to 8 DB The others are advertise 3 to 4 DB reduction. My P1x's made a huge difference in noise reduction . I would recommend those. The motor has a much healthier sound in my opinion over stock .And...

Congrats on the new ride. My wife says I can't remember SHT, but I can remember the first day I bought any of my bikes. Better than any B-day or X-mas.I will think about a new one if it comes in Galaxy Blue again. And why can't any motorcycle company make a good stock shield . I have never...

"Consumer Reports:" Yamaha most reliable motorcycle !

Interesting stats. I am surprised about BMW. I will bet their are some old air cooler beemers decades old really still on the road today. The only rational excuse I heard from people buying HD's were they got laid more often. Go figure!

    Difficult removal of oil filter

Thank yamaha for making changing the oil so easy on the FJR. My 1995 Connie was a bitch to get to. Just for fun I also change the rear end oil at the same time. The rear end takes the same crush washers and it takes about 2 seconds to do.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I am still very impressed how well they turned out. Its to bad you have to go though a "triple bia pass" to get to the qauges. I think I will ride down to bike night and show then off.
