FJRForum Official 2015 Iron Butt Rally Tracking/Analysis thread

Whoever is napping in Susanville is not going to make the 1100 miles to ABQ by 2000 mdt. They probably figured that out and went nighty night. Wait, I think if we all yelled really loud at the same time, maybe we can wake that rider. Ready, get set, NOW!! WAKE UP!! You can still make it...

I just passed two guys with loaded up GSA's heading west on I-80 going balls out. No Spot tracks so just regular 90 mile an hour guys. NHP will catch up to them soon.

Here is a little insight from across the Pond. FazerPhil might be one of those guys in or around Texas. Last couple of pages give hints. https://www.ironbutt.org/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=13347

2013 Iron Butt Rally - The Inside View

Phil O'Connor's GW failure, was due to a massive impact on the second or third day of the rally back in Pennsylvania. He rode all the way to Rancho with less than an inch of fork travel. He said it was ride-able, but the pounding was starting to get to him. Since he probably took the southern...

2013 Iron Butt Rally - The Inside View

Did the guy passing through Houston stop at the Johnson Space center? Went right by the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. Maybe he stopped for a photo. Could be heading to Cape Canaveral and also Huntsville and maybe a couple of others for a big combo bonus. Any NASA related stuff in...

I am still pulling for Frens, butt it's a shame about Meese. I'm sure if Jim wins, he will credit Meese with the win also. Good and complete healing to all injured riders.

Frens will take it. With all 48 states, the 4 Corners, and beau coup capitals, Jim will take the Big #1 Trophy. Sorry, Ken.

That really DOES say something. And it doesn't sound good.

First, we don't know if this person will be a finisher. Maybe that's why s/he is in so early. Perchance s/he missed a northern or eastern state. But it is nice to see I have a little support.

And the LDrider list says he came home early to celebrate his daughter's birthday. OK, where do we meet to pay up? Beers all around. Bad word, bad word, bad word

Sorry, I don't agree. I bet you a long, cold one that 350 leaves about 7 or 8 tonight and heads out. S/he will go to either Sac or Phoenix, whichever is the higher score.

2011 IBR - The Inside View

I'm going with 1. Frens 2. Meese 3. Peek 4. Jewell 5. Sinclair(?) Frens will get the Four Corners bonus, negating Meese's Hyder run. He will also get the high scoring Leg 3 capitals which Meese won't get because he went to KW at the beginning of Leg 3. Sinclair might not get 5th because he...
