    You Never Forget Your First

Thank you all for your support and compliments. For sure, I will have RRs in the future with this R1. In fact, the first ride is already planned for this Sunday, up into the mountains. Have a nice week ahead.

    You Never Forget Your First

Thanks Hudson. Agreed. For a while, it was the coolest thing for me. But the friendships that resulted were even better. I still love the bike and would not hesitate to buy another one as a stablemate to my R1. I don't know when, if ever, I'll be back to the US. But if I do make it back, I...

    You Never Forget Your First

Thanks for the compliment. And yes you are right, the wife is not too happy about the seating position on this bike. Also the noise from the pipes and wind. It is LOUD! I'm missing the windscreen already.

    You Never Forget Your First

I did have a couple of rides, and even one through Spain in May. I just never came round to putting up the RRs. But at the same time, I have been quite busy over the past year with a new job so it's kind'a limited my riding. But yes, I shall post ride reports with this R1 when I get the...

    You Never Forget Your First

Hi everyone. This is not a typical ride report. I'm not sure where to put this but I just wanted to share. I hope this is the right place for it. Mods, sorry if it's not. It's been a while since I posted here. I have sold my FJR. I thought it would be easy, but when the day came to hand...

    Attack of the Twisties

Tyler, Awesome pictures!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Those are some really nice roads. Love the reflections on the water and the vast open spaces (the pic with the colored benches on the open field). Thanks for sharing.

THE END OF AN EPIC ADVENTURE We left Monaco and took a short ride back to Nice where we went straight to the train station to drop off the bikes Our train would depart at 8pm. We had plenty of time to kill so we went for a final view of Nice - where the trip began just over a week ago...

These architecture shots can get quite tricky you know. Silly people always get in the way... I think I have a few more of such shots.... buried amongst the 3,000 ++ shots I took on the trip.... ;)

Thanks Tyler. Over the years, photography has made me see things differently - I often look at something e.g. on my commute to work and think, wow, that would make a great picture. It has made me appreciate the beauty of everything around me, I try to capture that and share with my friends...

REST DAY We were supposed to have a rest day in Fano... you know, take a break, do laundry, etc. Nah - let's leave the bags at the hotel and head up to San Marino! San Marino sat atop a hill. Only 30 minutes or so from Fano. It was pretty foggy up there... Part of the stone wall...

LOL! Yeah, it's so front heavy now, it could tip over anytime. Actually, you'd be surprised how heavy the fridge magnets were. We bought a few at every stop. By the time we reached Pisa, we had to buy a small bag to put it all in...
