Slow speed maneuvers are scary...being ready to straighten her up seems to be key...along with a lot of practice and different experiences...but when she is leaning too far...there is nothing you can do. Thank goodness you came out of it with little or no damage and no wrenched back.

That's some good advice, FJR Bill. I've found that riding nice and easy is relaxing and enjoyable...BUT when push comes to shove...FJR can move in a hurry to get around and ahead of those who want to be a little too close for comfort.

I live in Cerritos. About 10 miles from Disneyland. Thanks for the ride suggestion...will put it on my Garmin as one of my routes to do.

When riding in very warm or hot weather, especially in slow or stop and go traffic, I notice the temperature gauge goes up past the halfway point and sometimes even more. Is this normal?
