First notable maintenance on the bike for me as the second owner, other than changing oil and final drive fluid. I took advantage of a rear tire change and did some other maintenance while the rear wheel was off to get the new tire mounted. Bike has 46K miles on it. I'm assuming none of this...

Both are too expensive. I got a mostly stock '06 with 43K miles in good shape for $5500 in Feb 2011. I also nearly got a 2005 ABS with 20K miles for $5K in December of 2010 and a 2004 ABS with 20K miles for $4500 (or less). All were in Texas. Negotiate the price or wait. Avoid that scarcity...

He's just paying 99 cents when he runs over his 40 free hours per month. I did that twice until I realized I could be commercial free for $3/month. Much better without ads. Enjoy!
