    photography on your FJR

I couldn't live without my tri-pod now, especially with long exposure shots. I don't even have a quick release. I simply use the 2 sec delay and it accomplishes the same thing. Cool...another bridge camera guy. FujiFilm really has increased the power of these all in one's. To me for...

    photography on your FJR

You live on the island of Malta? I'd love to see some images from there so feel free to post them in the pictures thread here for us. I think there are a few photographers on here that can understand where your coming from. Most just use small P&S camera's that they keep in there tank bags, I...

    Two Wheeled Wanderlust

This week's episode of T.W.W. has my lovely wife StreetBetty joining me on a wonderful day ride together. I wanted to do something different, ride some new roads, visit new area's, new sights, maybe a few new POI. So I found a state park in the middle of nowhere that I've never heard of before...

Whats your favorite Sitcom of all time?

Me & my older brother used to watch reruns of "Hogans Hero's" as kids. We loved that show along with "Get Smart". Sitcoms are like snapshots of America frozen in time. Watch a 50's show and compare it's content with a 70's show. What a 70's show and compare it's content to a 90's show. It's a trip.

    New Garmin Zumo... 590LM

Agreed. My wife's Nuvi has the traffic update thing...it's never accurate. Even the actual GA511 Atlanta traffic supposedly "real time" website is crap most of the time. I've gone through ATL after checking it several times with green clear roads on the website only to find it's a freaking...

Whats your favorite Sitcom of all time?

Thanks for reminding me of that show....Poll has been edited to include it now. I used to watch that one as well. I also edited choice number 10 for some of you other jokers. lol

Whats your favorite Sitcom of all time?

Were you just awoken from a time capsule?...btw the Cold War with the Soviet Union fell in 1989...in case you missed that one while you were asleep.

Whats your favorite Sitcom of all time?

Ok...enough of this April fools crap. You miserable northerners really just need to go ride, your all effed in the head. lol. I figured try I'd to lighten the mood around this miserable morgue that's a supposed front for an actual motorcycle forum. I picked some of the more popular Sitcoms of...

    Cool Calistoga - March 2014

Noice!!!....said with fake Aussie accent I'm sorry you had yet another miserable ride, with horrible company, terrible food and awful landscape. You poor soul. lol I never tire of visiting vineyards & orchards. They always just scream peacefulness and a slower pace of life to me. TFS.

    New Garmin Zumo... 590LM

$799.00 eh? I broke down 3yrs ago and got the Zumo 660. I'm keeping that thing until it breaks & doesn't work anymore because of what I paid for it. But if/when I ever need to replace it this one looks pretty cool. Hopefully they'll be a bit cheaper by the time I might need another one...but I...

    I'm done with FJRForum mods

I am averse to drama. Nothing worse than grown men needing their ego stroked or playing internet tough guy hiding behind a keyboard. Both drive me insane. This is my third motorcycle forum for three different bikes over the past 7yrs. Ultimately motorcycle forums are all the same. There is a...

    Motorcycle .com 2014ES review

Aha! So you agree with me. :) They've always been functional. I only have mine on for over night trips or long day rides where I might want to lock my jacket & helmet up out of weather. Other than that I keep mine off as much as I can.

    Motorcycle .com 2014ES review

Of course "styling" is all a complete matter of opinion. Some guys think a 1978 AMC Pacer is a thing of beauty so it's kind of pointless to even discuss styling preferences really. lol That being said my personal opinion (who cares, I know) is I agree with you to a point on the 2014 ES styling...

    Rode a Sportster home today

This is the part that always scares me and why there is some HD backlash which also bleeds over into cruiser riders in general regardless of bike brand. Of course we all know that and won't go down that road. Trying to match a look & persona and forgetting everything else is just silly. But when...

Finally got the 2014 ES out for a ride in MN....

I have a motorcycle friend (C14) that lives in Moncton, NB. He sent me a picture of his street yesterday. They currently have 6' snow drifts and about 3'-4' of snow on the ground with about 7" of fresh stuff. It's April and he's about to hang himself if it snows one more time!!! Poor *******...

    Motorcycle .com 2014ES review

Interesting response from a Connie owner from this article. I disagree that Sport Touring bikes are only for guys in their low 50's & older. I got mine in my late 30's. I don't understand why ST's are typically viewed as an "old guys" bike? (No offense old guys) It's got 128hp and goes 150+...

Glove Box door rig - My solution

Nice. I did almost the exact same fix to mine about 1-1/2yr ago. I actually like the magnet latch better. The electric controled plastic latch components are a fail anyways. Yamaha could have actually used some metal parts for a lockable storage unit. Oh well. lol
